The Enigma Room

THE ENIGMA ROOM IS AN IMMERSIVE CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE,

INVITING VIEWERS TO QUESTION PERCEPTION VERSUS REALITY

In The Enigma Room, time is suspended. Upon entering, pause and surrender to the immersive sensations. Custom coding and digital manipulation weave together photographs, video, and audio sourced from Ed Kashi’s extensive global archive. This installation extracts Kashi’s work from its original context, creating abstract connections across time and space. The Enigma Room, a collaborative effort between Ed Kashi, Brenda Bingham, Michael Curry, and Rachel Bolaños, transports the viewer into a sensory journey through cycles of chaos, calm, and rebirth.

Beautiful, luminous, hypnotic, cosmic.
Exquisite.
It’s a rollercoaster of emotions.
It takes you on a journey.
Hauntingly beautiful.
This is hands down one of the coolest visual art experiences I’ve ever seen. Find The Enigma Room and take time to sit down and take this in....[it] genuinely brought me to tears multiple times.
It’s bound to fill you with emotion.
It really resonated with me, as I find myself increasingly reflecting on life, its meaning and its mystery.
Utterly enthralling!
It was hard to leave. A total visceral experience.
The experience was out of time and out of place. One really can’t describe it in terms or referential time.
